Cross-border family mediation in cases of child abduction

In cases of cross border custody issues and parental child abduction I always work closely with MiKK.

MiKK is the International Mediation Centre for Family Conflict and Child Abduction, an internationally recognized NGO based in Berlin specialised in cross-border family cases. Cross-border family cases are usually very complex and involve the legal systems of the countries involved. In a cross-border family mediation, I co-mediate with a lawyer specialized in international family law. If the particular mediation allows, it commonly follows the MIKK 4 B model, in which both parents’ culture, language and gender are represented by the co-mediation team.
